Linda Mather

Little did we realise when Linda Mather became a Committee Member of
WORDS that we had a prolific and successful crime writer joining us !!
Linda has lived in Bromsgrove for nearly twenty years and has always written, creating stories on an old typewriter as a teenager and being the arts editor for her University Newspaper.

She gave up her job to become a full time author of crime fiction, and has
created the Jo and Macy Mystery Series, set in the Cotswolds and the West Midlands.

The latest in the series, the sixth, entitled " The Perfect House for Murder", which has been inspired by the Canals near Stoke Prior, has just been published by Joffe Books.

For the future, Linda has recently signed a three book contract to write a
police thriller series, set in the New Forest, and there are plans in the pipeline for another Jo and Macy Mystery.
